Calling All New Parents!

If you are a new parent with an infant from the newborn stage to 3 months of age: Kerriann Ostlund, MSW, LICSW of the Lexington Pediatrics Wellness Center, is offering a 3-part virtual new parent group.

Parents will learn about how to foster healthy relationships and bond with their baby, the social-emotional development of their baby, and provide "hands-on" activities to assist with fostering the parent-child relationship. This group will take place on Wednesdays virtually at 10:30 a.m. on the following dates: 

  • February 11th,
  • February 25th, and
  • March 11th

Benefits include:

  • Assists new parents with fostering a secure connection with their child that will serve them throughout their lifetime
  • Provides hands-on activities that you can do with your child at home throughout their first year of life
  • Allows connection with other new parents in addition to a safe space to discuss challenges of new parenthood
